Exoprimal: Neo T-Rex Fight Tips
Exoprimal has a myriad of different activities one can encounter in a match. While the first phase of each match can be a normal enemy gauntlet. The second phase is left up to random chance and as you progress in the game, you will unlock more final activities. Such as the Neo T-Rex fight that is first encountered during the story, and it is no joke in terms of difficulty. If you are having a hard time progressing due to not knowing how the fight works, this guide may be the help you need!
Exoprimal Neo T-Rex Guide
For starters, you will be working with ten people to take it down. It has a lot of health and your team will have limited respawns. So ensure you are taking the time to revive people, you will need them. The Neo T-Rex will have an assortment of different team killing moves. Such as breathing fire on the stage.
When this happens, get up to the platforms and make sure to stay on bright blue-colored ones. As the darker-colored ones sink back into the stage. If you did not get up on the platforms, stay dead and wait for someone to revive you. Secondly, the Neo T-Rex will breathe fire across the stage from time to time. Make sure you jump over it. He will also create a black hole to suck in players. You will die if you get caught in this. The best way to avoid this is to get behind cover as quickly as possible. When he is charging up his chomp to kill players, you can deal damage to him freely. If you do enough damage, he will get staggered, avoiding that instant kill!
He will also do another attack that requires getting behind cover. This will be completely random so pay attention and when you see pillars rise, get behind them. Make sure to stay out of the black goo as well as take out additional enemies he summons.
I recommend using a gun-wielding exosuit to keep your distance from the Neo T-Rex. They are especially useful when you have to remain behind cover during the vortex, or when you have to stay above the Neo T-Rex’s firebreathing on the stage. But outside of this, just make sure to revive your fellow players. As well as staying dead if you know you can not avoid the team kill attack at the time. Be wary and stay safe in Exoprimal!
