After maxing out your chosen faction in Soulframe, you will be left with two options. You can either continue your reputation farm to buy stuff from your current faction, or switch to another faction to see what they have and farm that loot out. But, how do you switch your faction in the game? Well, down below will be a very easy guide to follow on what you need to do to switch to another faction.
How to Switch Factions in Soulframe
For starters, you will need to be rank 3 with your current faction. This will require you to grind out 15,000 reputation first. Then, you will have to spend at least another 3,000 reputation to buy a “Sacred Shimmer”.
Sacred Shimmers are essential to crafting “Totems” for your desired faction. You will need to have the specific totem built and equipped to pledge to a new faction. As you see below, if you want to pledge to the Silent Rose faction, you will need the Rose’s Bodkin totem.
There are three faction totems overall. You will need to be able to craft the:
- Medallion of Mora for the Kith of Kings. Fragments for the totem are in chests in the Undercity dungeon.
- Rose’s Bodkin for the Silent Rose. Fragments for the totem are in chests across the Midrath overworld.
- Sproutfolk Seed for Alca’s Children. Fragments for the totem are in chests in the Glades dungeon.
When you switch to a faction in Soulframe, you are locked in for one week before being allowed to pledge to another. But, considering the reputation costs, you may need longer than that, depending on your schedule to play the game.
