HP just unveiled its most advanced gaming gear yet, including the OMEN MAX 45L desktop, AI-powered performance tools, and HyperX peripherals designed for competitive gamers and streamers. Announced at the Level Reforge event in Los Angeles, this release redefines gaming performance, customization, and audio quality. Check out the details below

The OMEN MAX 45L delivers elite performance with AMD Ryzen 9 9950X3D and NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5090, built for AAA gaming and content creation. Its patented CRYO CHAMBER cooling system lowers CPU temperatures by 7.5°C under full load, ensuring stable performance during intense sessions. A modular 1200W PSU offers customizable fan curves, cleaning mode, and real-time monitoring. The re-engineered chassis improves airflow with raised feet, open bottom vents, and vented PCI slots.

OMEN 35L & Stealth Edition: High-End Specs, Minimalist Design

The refreshed OMEN 35L desktops match the MAX 45L’s power, supporting Ryzen 9 and RTX 5090 configurations. The Stealth Edition features an all-black, RGB-free design for users who prefer a minimalist setup. As the official PC of League of Legends Esports and the Valorant Champions Tour, the Stealth Edition reflects HP’s ongoing partnership with Riot Games.

OMEN AI: Smart Optimization for Popular Titles

OMEN AI now supports Valorant, League of Legends, Apex Legends, and Fortnite. Integrated into OMEN Gaming Hub, it enables real-time performance, thermal, and power optimization with a single click—letting players focus on gameplay, not settings.

Its 53mm dual-chamber drivers deliver immersive, low-distortion sound, while memory foam cushions and breathable materials ensure comfort. The headset includes HP’s first reprogrammable RGB Base Station for full setup control.

HyperX also introduces the Cloud Flight 2 with RGB panels and removable earcup plates, and the CloudX Flight 2 with enhanced Xbox compatibility.

HyperX FlipCast & SoloCast 2: Studio-Grade Sound for Creators

The HyperX FlipCast microphone supports both USB and XLR connections, offering broadcast-quality sound with background noise rejection. It features a beveled LED input meter, tap-to-mute functionality, and a multi-function dial for live adjustments. Users can personalize the RGB ring and access pro-level tools like a compressor and AI noise reduction via HyperX NGENUITY software.

The compact HyperX SoloCast 2 includes a built-in shock mount, foam pop filter, and plug-and-play setup for everyday gamers who want better sound out of the box.

Either way, the options are there to cater to your needs. However, the software is not the easiest to use. A lot of the microphone options (such as the AI noise cancellation) are constantly grayed out and can’t be turned on. Even with multiple tinkering attempts, I couldn’t access these features that HyperX was keen to show earlier in the summer.  […]
