Resident Evil Requiem, Resident Evil 7 biohazard, and Resident Evil™ Village are coming to Switch 2 on February 26, 2026. But that’s not all. Monster Hunter Stories fans can rejoice because we also got a March 13, 2026, launch date for Monster Hunter Stories™ 3: Twisted Reflection. Not to mention, Capcom also regaled Mega Man fans with a Mega Man Star Force™ Legacy Collection. Capcom will be showing off much more for these games at their upcoming Tokyo Game Show showcase. But for now, here is what we learned from the Nintendo Direct.
Capcom announced a new Resident Evil
Capcom announced the newest iteration of the Resident Evil series is coming to Switch 2, in addition to PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, and Steam. It seems that the big boys aren’t the only ones getting the newest RE. Capcom dropped a new trailer that brought us deeper into the mystery of FBI Agent Grace Ashcroft’s duties as she is assigned to the crime scene of the newest murders at the Wrenwood hotel, where her mother died 8 years ago. The trailer came fresh with a new antagonist, weapons, and horrors.

That’s not all, though: Capcom also announced that both Resident Evil 7 biohazard Gold Edition and Resident Evil Village Gold Edition will also come to Switch 2 on February 26, 2026! It’s a great time to be a Resident Evil fan, especially if you haven’t been playing anywhere other than on Nintendo Switch.
A teaser for Monster Hunter Stories 3: Twisted Reflection
While they haven’t announced Monster Hunter Wilds yet, Capcom did announce Monster Hunter Stories 3: Twisted Reflection to launch on Nintendo Switch 2, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam on March 13, 2026. The new trailer showed raising and bonding with “Monsties,” featuring the following mechanics:
- “Raise Your Team – Build and raise a collection of Monsties, forming kinships with iconic Monsters from the Monster Hunter™series. “
- “Fight Together – Experience the strategic turn-based battles system with Riders and Monsties fighting side by side. “
- “An Enhanced World – Enjoy stylized 3D graphics that bring the Monster Hunter Stories series world to life.”
- “Witness an Epic Story – Dive deep into a captivating story that spans across two kingdoms and many generations.”

As a Monster Hunter fan who has not played the previous MH Stories, I am very excited to play this one. I even bought the previous two (2) so I can catch up when Monster Hunter Stories 3: Twisted Reflection launches on March 13, 2026.
