It’s that time of the year again, with the Lords attending NYCC 2025, with one of the many games I had hands-on time with being My HERO ACADEMIA All’s Justice. Continuing the 3D arena fighting series Bandai-Namco set in the My Hero universe, this latest installment will cover the anime’s final season and more.
The Final Battles – What is MY HERO ACADEMIA All’s Justice?

With the anime covering it’s final season as of this writing, All’s Justice covers the final arcs for My Hero Academia while offering an even larger single-player offering. Bandai-Namco describes the game as follows, according to its Steam Listing.
MY HERO ACADEMIA: All’s Justice is the super-powered 3D arena fighter where your favorite characters from the My Hero Academia franchise appear in their latest and most powerful forms, framed within a Refined Battle System. Furthermore, dive into a variety of game modes, including original scenario based Team-Up Mission where you’ll experience hero life as a U.A. High 1-A student in a Virtual Space!
Hero vs Hero – NYCC 2025 Demo Impressions
At Bandai-Namco’s large booth at NYCC 2025, All’s Justice was playable. The demo contained several playable characters from the series and covered the standard VS mode. I wasn’t fighting against another player; instead, I was fighting against AI-controlled characters.
The fighting felt solid, reminding me of games like Bandai’s other 3D Arena fighters, like Naruto: Ultimate Ninja Storm and many of their Dragon Ball Z games. Moving around, dashing, and landing blows felt responsive. In addition, I leveraged the tag-in ability, using more than one hero during the battle.
Just Like the Anime – Presentation
While combat was enjoyable, the biggest takeaway was how the game was largely authentic to the source material. All the characters were voiced, using their English VAs from the anime while executing their iconic abilities. Even if some aspects of the presentation could’ve been better, such as proper lip-syncing for the characters before they battle, it overall looks great.
An Exciting World – Story Mode Potential
Before playing the game at NYCC 2025, I was aware of the game’s single-player offering. Similar to games like Ultimate Ninja Storm 2, players can control the iconic cast of My Hero Academia and explore a semi-open world. Using Deku’s whip ability to swing like Spider-Man or Todoroki’s ice powers to slide around is an exciting prospect.
When playing the Ninja Storm games, their sudo-open worlds were fun to explore, but everyone felt ‘the same’ movement-wise. Seeing how All’s Justice is going to leverage its extensive cast’s ability set, both in and out of combat, is awesome and appreciated.
Closing Thoughts on MY HERO ACADEMIA All’s Justice
Reflecting on my short hands-on with the game, I’m excited for the final release in 2026. Covering the most exciting arc of the My Hero series, all while offering a robust single-player offering and refined combat system, shows Bandai-Namco’s continued investment in anime video games.
MY HERO ACADEMIA All’s Justice will release on Xbox Series X/S, PlayStation, and Steam (PC) on February 6th, 2026. You can learn more about the game via its official website and stay tuned for additional NYCC 2025 coverage here at Lords of Gaming!
