Thoughts on the Global Xbox FanFest

Asha Sharma, the new head of Microsoft Gaming, said she wants to bring back the renegade spirit that made Xbox special. So, this is a solid first step. Xbox desperately needs its fans if it wants its next-generation console, dubbed Projectg Helix, to thrive.

However, things will be an uphill battle as the industry continues to contend with increasing component costs and massive layoffs. However, ensuring that FanFest is everywhere again is a great opportunity to revitalize its fan base.
