Planet Zoo will be getting two new updates by the end of the month. The popular zoo simulation game will be getting a free feature update with update 1.5 on March 30th. In addition to that, the Southeast Asia Pack is releasing on the same day with new animals. Two recent announcements from developer Frontier outline the features that each update brings. New Update

Update 1.5 is a free update that all players will be receiving. It has a number of quality-of-life changes as well as new features that were highly requested by the game’s community. Some of these feature changes include:

  • Multiple zoo entrances
  • Visual settings for water
  • Customizable billboards
  • A new timed scenario
  • UI changes

And there are additional changes you can see in the update announcement above. To add to that, the game will also release the Southeast Asia Pack to purchase.

Southeast Asia Pack

Like previously released packs, this new pack brings new animals. There will be eight new animals that include the clouded leopard, sun bear, and more. There is also a new challenge scenario featuring a zoo in Perak, Malaysia.

The Southeast Asia Pack will be available to purchase on March 30th and will cost $9.99 ( £7.99,  €9.99) on Steam.
