Microsoft debuted DOOM: The Dark Ages at their Xbox Games Showcase today. This brand new game in the series takes the fast-paced action franchise to an all new time, the medieval times.
Announced as a prequel to 2016s DOOM, DOOM: The Dark Ages takes players back in time to tell an origin story. The game showcased the same high-octane shooting mechanics the series is known for. It also showed a shield that can be used as a buzz saw for ranged attacks.
