By way of Twitter/X user Wario64, Nintendo will stream its Museum Direct on August 19 at 3 pm PT/6 pm EST. The stream is slated for a 10-minute runtime and will showcase Nintendo’s upcoming Museum opening in Kyoto, Japan.

The museum is expected to open to visitors in the fall of this year. You can expect Kyoto to have a nice boost to its tourism industry following the museum’s opening.

The year 2024 has been relatively quiet for Nintendo. This is mainly due to the much-anticipated successor of the Nintendo Switch. However, expect Nintendo to close out the last year of its successful console-portable hybrid with a bang.
