While Devstream 185, or the “Techrot Encore” showcase is slated for next week for the Warframe community. There are still some news tidbits for Digital Extremes to sprinkle in while we wait. Such is the case for this week’s Devshorts episode. Devshorts 45 wrapped up earlier today, and was hosted by Megan Everett, the Community Director of Digital Extremes. As well as Steve Sinclair, the CEO of the company. While there was a slew of mini topics that they went over, here is a small list of the highlights of the stream!
Devshorts 45 Breakdown for Warframe and Soulframe
While Rebecca Ford, the Creative Director of Warframe usually hosts the stream, Steve clarified that she was wrapped up in “recording sessions” which could mean a variety of things but nothing clear right now. But as for the news tidbits, they went over the following:
- As previously stated, Devstream 185 will be next week on Friday the 28th. They will go over the next major update “Techrot Encore”, the next warframe and their abilities. As well as a deeper look at the nearly 20 new weapons coming in that update.
- Preludes 9 for Soulframe will be launching sometime next week. For all details on what to expect from it, please visit out breakdown of their 4th Devstream. Also worth noting that their 5th devstream will take place before Devstream 185 if you are interested.
- Steve went over his excitement for global illumination lighting coming to opening missions in Warframe.
- They are looking into improving the toggle for screen shake.
- Finally, Ash will be getting a light rework. Do not expect major changes, but they may share details of that on the Devstream next week.
