Following the bombastic launch of Warframe: 1999 and Techrot Encore, Digital Extremes have spent the last few months having fun on their Devstreams while they work on exciting new content for Warframe behind the scenes. Devstream 186 was focused on looking back on 1999 and sharing memories of its development. While also giving the community new alerts (like the Wolf of Saturn Six alerts) to look forward to, and a side of exciting cosmetics. Such as the Citrine and Kullervo deluxe skins. This is where Devstream 187 picked up from.
Devstream 187 had a lot of whacky hijinks, while also giving players some information on TennoCon 2025. As well as a look at a new event coming to Warframe in next month, and a tease of what’s to be shown at Devstream 188 in just a few weeks. Here is everything from today’s Devstream!
A Glimpse at the Schedule for TennoCon 2025
Part of Devstream 187 was the reveal of TennoCon 2025’s entire schedule. If you head over to the official website page here. You can see both days schedules there. Including the cosplay contest and TennoConcert times for the first day. Followed by the panels for the second day, including the Devstream for Soulframe andTennoLive for Warframe.

There was also a glimpse at the Kullervo Apostate Deluxe skin in game. As well as the announcement of a new Nora’s Mix, launching on May 21st, featuring new Cosmos themed Raya cosmetics. Which include a new Ephemera, Burston skin and Xaku Skin. There are also new Tennogen community made items coming to Warframe soon as well. These include a new chestpiece, Operator face cosmetics, Drifter shades, and an infested looking Hildryn skin. But there are also a lot of new quality of life changes coming to the game soon as well!
New Quality of Life for Warframe and a new Event
In a potentially new upcoming update, there will be a whole slew of quality-of-life changes. Including the following you see below:
- The Warframe: 1999 demo will be leaving soon. If you have not tackled the expansion, do tackle the demo in your orbiter soon for a cool Skana skin!
- You can swap loadouts in the Archimedea game mode menus.
- Warframe and Weapon categories are being streamlined for easier search results. Such as looking for a Shotgun or Sniper for Sorties!
- A Universal Gemini Emote so you do not need all of the different ones in your emote wheel.
- Archon Shard removal cost changes.
- New items in the Arbitration Store.
- Scaldra Dedicant health reduction (thank you, DE).
- Minerva’s sunglasses will now be an auxiliary cosmetic.
- Concentrated Arrow augment changes for Ivara.
On May 2nd to the 19th, you will be able to tackle a new Tactical Alert in Warframe. This event will be called the Galleon of Ghouls and will be a little crazy. You will have to work with none other than Chanceler Vay Hek and your trusty self-damaging Ogris to swarm Grineer Galleons and capture rogue Ghouls that are plundering the ships. Participating in this event will let you earn the Grineer themed Tonkatt tonfas as well as the Tak & Lug sword and shield.

But after some insightful Augment creation talk, and whacky hijinks including an Atomicycle being used as a melee weapon (amongst other things), they showed off a new enemy that will be included in an upcoming update.
New Duviri Paradox Content?
Back in 2023, Digital Extremes released The Duviri Paradox as a long-awaited expansion. With melee focused combat, a dreamlike world and skeletal soldiers to fight against, it was an interesting idea, but the main part the expansion lacked in, was its story component. While future updates worked in elements of Duviri into its narrative, like Warframe: 1999, Duviri itself was left unattended. With that being said, near the end of the stream Digital Extremes casually showed off a new enemy with a placeholder name that gives away what’s coming in the next update.

While the writing is hard to make out. The words Duviri and Murmur can be made out. Indicating that a new update for The Duviri Paradox is coming to Warframe. While they are being cagey, this update will most likely be shown off during next month’s Devstream. This Devstream will be streamed live from PAX East on May 10th, so do not miss out on it!
But that is all we learned from Devstream 187. If you would like to watch the stream, for any minute details, you can find the full stream here!
