Digital Extremes spilled the beans on when the next Devstream is taking place, and even better yet, has also given us a small teaser on what could be the next warframe and where this next update will take place. Here is everything we know so far before the weeks-long wait for Devstream 189.
What we Know Will be shown at Warframe Devstream 189
Devstream 189 has been confirmed to be taking place on September 25th. This will be the first Devstream since TennoCon and will be filled with a lot of cool content to showcase. Such as the Unannounced Fall 2025 update, which will include the following:
- The long-requested and anticipated Oberon rework (Chroma next, please, Digital Extremes)
- Lavos Deluxe Skin.
- The Teacher Cinematic Quest explaining the mod system in Warframe.
- And finally, a new frame that has only been teased as a “fun guy”.

That “fun guy” tease may have been more of a play on words than some might have thought. As a small teaser, they posted on their official Twitter/X account, showing that he will be a mushroom-themed warframe. The figure shown in the teaser was quite small too, which may indicate that he will be the game’s first small in stature frame, or it is a summon from the frame similar to the recently released Oraxia’s spiders. We also saw what appears to be Orb Vallis’ cave network, indicating a return to Fortuna.
During Devstream 189, you will finally know what the upcoming Warframe update is called and when you can expect to play it. More details can be found on their official forum post here.
