Gamescom Officially Goes Digital For 2020

Gamescom

With the recent pandemic of COVID-19 impacting everyone around the globe, it is only fitting that Gamescom would cancel or go digital. Today we can finally get confirmation that this massive event is going digital for the year 2020. Roughly 360,000 people attended last year in 2019, already reinforcing that it is the largest gaming event in the world. E3 has already been cancelled earlier this year with ESA letting most publishers decide what they want to do on their own. At least Gamescom is providing a proper digital event this year for its fans. You can check out the statement below.

This has been a really rough year for people globally, and one can only hope all of this will subside sooner than we hope. Stay home, stay safe, wash your hands and cover-up!
