The summer gaming conference and convention season is in full force. Although the Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3) was officially canceled this year after multiple publishers pulled out of the event, plenty of other showcases are quickly filling the void. Geoff Keighley, the showrunner of The Game Awards, is leading the pack with his Summer Game Fest showcase, which includes over two hours of game announcements. Among them comes a first-time world reveal of Sonic Superstars.

SEGA is going through a renaissance of its beloved mascot as of late and Sonic Superstars seems to prove it. the game sports beautiful 2.5D graphics and art style and with the fast high-octane gameplay we know and love. Simply put, the game looks phenomenal and let’s hope it plays as good as it looks. No doubt the game will definitely have Sonic fans hyped up once it lands later this year.
The game will be available across all major platforms. This includes Steam, Epic Games Store, PlayStation 4/5, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch.
