The Game Awards 2023: Light No Fire – A New Game From Hello Games

The Game Awards 2023

The Game Awards are back. A one-night-only celebration of all things gaming live from the Peacock Theater in downtown Los Angeles. Today, December 7th, the best games from the year will be recognized and a ton of game announcements will be made. With that, we have a look at Light No Fire.

Light No Fire is a passion project that has secretly been worked on by the developers behind No Man’s Sky. For the past five years, Sean Murray and his team of 11 other developers have been working on Light No Fire. With that, they are now ready to show the game off. Murray describes the game as an open-world multiplayer exploration game. It features a procedurally generated open world that reminds me a lot of No Man’s SkyLight No Fire borrows some elements from the team’s previous game but, it has a more focused singular world. With that focus, the team promises to deliver a stronger, deeper sandbox.

No platforms or release window has been shared at this time. I am sure we will hear more about the game in late 2024.
