Every year, Digital Extremes hosts an E3-like mega event for their marque title, Warframe. This event, appropriately named TennoCon, runs throughout the day and is always streamed on their official social media platforms. Such as Twitch, and YouTube. This year’s TennoCon will take place in just three days on the 20th of this month. But what can you expect to see during this all day event?
The First Official Soulframe DevStream
In 2022, Digital Extremes announced an all-new fantasy MMO named Soulframe. Soulframe shocked and impressed the crowd that year and has since had multiple streams talking about the game, from the Warframe to Soulframe stream, and Preludes Stream. But the biggest show of what to expect in the game happened last year at TennoCon 2023, where they unveiled over 30 minutes of unedited gameplay to the world.
This year, at TennoCon 2024, Soulframe will have an hour long live Devstream dedicated to it. No doubt revealing even more gameplay and what to expect from the title. This Devstream will take place as the starter for TennoCon, at 12pm ET. As for when it will eventually launch for all players to try. That is currently unknown, but if you sign up to the Preludes via the official website, you can be given a chance to playtest it sometime in the future.
A Big Deep Dive into Warframe: 1999
Last year at TennoCon 2023, Digital Extremes showcased 27 minutes of gameplay for two major content updates. With 21 minutes being dedicated to the highly well received Whispers in the Walls, and 6 minutes being dedicated to to the reveal of Warframe: 1999, the next major content update that was confirmed last year to be arriving sometime this year.
Ember Heirloom and Unique Twitch Drops
On the day of TennoCon 2024, you can expect to finally get your hands on the Ember Heirloom Pack. Which includes an absolutely hot skin for Ember, and other goodies, such as an exclusive Signa, Glyph, Color Palette, and foil Prex Card. But unlike last year’s Heirloom Packs for Frost and Mag, this Heirloom Pack will only cost $24.99 USD, and will also include some platinum. However, if you do not have any cash to spend, you can buy a pack including these items for platinum if you have enough on hand.
If you are watching from home on a day off, scheduled or not, you can earn two unique Twitch Drops this year. If you watch the stream on their official Twitch channel, you can earn both the AX-52 Assault Rifle, and a free Saryn Prime.
To get the AX-52 Assault rifle, you will have to watch for 30 minutes with the account you have linked to your Warframe account. But there is a catch, the AX-52 is only available as a drop before TennoLive at 4:30pm ET, from there, the Twitch Drop will change to the free Saryn Prime.
Hop in Warframe for a Unique Relay Experience for TennoCon 2024
During TennoCon 2024, specifically TennoLive, if you jump into Warframe, you can experience a unique relay experience. This in-game relay will be called the Hollvarian Central Mall and will be themed around Warframe: 1999. For players who experienced the Amphitheatre event for The Duviri Paradox, you can probably expect a similar in-game presentation.
But this is all you can expect for TennoCon 2024 on Saturday. Last year featured a lot of great panels and cosplay contests, where someone even got proposed to by their girlfriend who was cosplaying as a Titania. So, tune in and enjoy the show with your fellow Tenno!
