There are a wide variety of Indie developers that have created incredible games over the years. One such studio is Sabotage, which are the Canadian developers that created the massive Indie darling The Messenger. Featuring Ninja Gaiden-inspired action platforming with retro-styled graphics. The game was an instant hit with many players across a variety of platforms. Now their next title, the highly anticipated RPG Sea Of Stars is set to release this summer. Slated for PlayStation, PC, and Nintendo Switch many fans were curious whether the game would be coming to Xbox platforms. Now fans will not have to sit and wait to find out.
It was revealed today, via the official Sea Of Stars Twitter account that the game will indeed be coming to Xbox Series X and S as well as Xbox One consoles. Not only will this hotly anticipated RPG be coming to Xbox, but it will also be released on August 29th alongside the PC, PlayStation, and Nintendo Switch versions. With its comparisons to classic JRPGs like Chrono Trigger, it looks to be an absolute must-play for fans of the genre. The story is also set to be a prequel to Sabotage’s previous title The Messenger. It will be interesting to see how they interconnect the games. Could this perhaps be the beginning of a connected universe? It is to early to tell, but it will certainly be an interesting title to check out this Summer.
