Ninja Gaiden 4 Set to Launch in Fall 2025

Despite being leaked earlier this week, Koei Tecmo, Team Ninja, and Platinum Games revealed the next iteration of the long-running franchise Ninja Gaiden is making a comeback. Ryu Hayabusa is back and will make his long-await return in Ninja Gaiden 4 this Fall. Best of all, if you can’t wait that long, Ninja Gaiden Black 2 is available today on Game Pass. No doubt, this will help kill time until we see the famed ninja slash and dash his way back into the limelight.

Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 Coming Out This April

Taking us now to Montpellier, France is the home of Sandfall Interactive. Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 is the studio’s first game and looks impeccable. It harkens back to the days when JRPGs took players to exotic fantasy worlds. No doubt Expedition 33 will make use of modern tech to bring the game to life. The game is slated to launch on April 24. 

Xbox Developer Direct 2025 – South of Midnight Also Launching in April

Now, we take our global ride to Montreal, Canada where Compulsion Games gives us another look at their upcoming action-adventure game, South of Midnight. The game incorporates breath-taking visuals with stop-motion cutscenes that wouldn’t look out of place to classic films such as The Nightmare Before Christmas. The game is shaping up to be a solid addition to Compulsion Games’ fantastic resume of titles. South of Midnight launches on April 8. 

DOOM: The Dark Ages Closes the Xbox Developer Direct 2025

No doubt, id software are pioneers of the first-person shooter genre. Their highly-anticipated prequel to DOOM 2016 is set to raise hell to the next level. The Saw Shield and all the mechanics that come with it look to freshen up the gameplay loop. In addition, DOOM: The Dark Ages looks to be the franchise’s most cinematic game yet. The game is set to launch on May 15, 2025.
