Warframe Devshorts 44 Breakdown

Last week was very eventful in Warframe. Not only did the Valentines Day event “Star Days” start, but so did the new Nightwave, and rerun of Belly of the Beast event. Keeping up with this momentum, earlier today, Digital Extremes hosted their weekly Devshorts stream – starring the CEO of the company Steve Sinclair and the Creative Director of Warframe, Rebecca Ford. In this short stream, it was filled with laughs and plenty of other fun news. Including the announcement of their next Devstreams.

Everything from Devshorts 44 for Warframe

For starters, they announced that the next set of Devstreams are slated for February 28. Both Devstreams will cover Warframe, and Soulframe. But here is what you can expect, and everything else from the stream!

  • Devstream 185 will cover in detail the next major update, “Techrot Encore”. As well as the 60th warframe and the four protoframes.
  • The 5th Devstream for Soulframe will cover everything to come in Preludes 9, and gameplay of the new ranged “Caster” gauntlet weapon.
  • Lavos (or Lavo for short) Prime will launch tomorrow, coming with Zoren and Cedo Prime.
  • A new Valentenno community event has gone live. Where you can create a custom Valentines Day themed E-Card for various prizes. You can find more information here.
  • Digital Extremes was taken aback from selling out of TennoCon tickets in less than 30 minutes. While many in the community were saddened, they could not get in, they do have a waitlist on their website to potentially buy a ticket if one becomes available.
  • Finally, the annual Digital Pack for TennoCon 2025 will be revealed soon. This pack will of course, not mitigate the sting of missing out on the event in-person.

As for small tidbits from the stream, they did answer a hypothetical question about Primary Arcanes for Archguns. Acknowledging the desire for the community to enhance their favorite big guns in the game further, but no confirmation was made in this stream. Same goes for news on a Nintendo Switch 2 version of Warframe, they currently do not have a development kit either.

But that wraps all of the news from Devshorts 44. If you would like to watch the full stream for any minute details or shenanigans. You can find the video below!
