Earlier today, Digital Extremes hosted their weekly Devshorts stream – going over some details from Devstream 185. In Devstream 185, we got an indepth look at the upcoming Techrot Encore update. This update is going to feature a lot of new content, new characters, all-new quality of life improvements amongst other things. But in this latest Devshorts, hosted as always by the CEO of Digital Extremes, Steve Sinclair, and Creative Director of Warframe, Rebecca Ford, they went over some new details for Techrot Encore.
Devshorts 47 Details for Warframe
Aside from a small recap of highlights from Devstream 185, they also went over the following:
- Techrot Encore is still on track for March 19th.
- They went over cryptic reasoning behind the lack of romance for the new protoframes – those being Kaya (or Nova), Valimir (Frost), Minerva (Saryn), and Flare (the new warframe, Temple). They will be focusing on just the stories for these new characters.
- For Baruuk fans, rejoice! Part of the small melee technical rebalancing they are doing, Baruuks exalted weapons will now deal increased damage.
- Finally, during the stream, Rebecca went over to her computer to showcase a few new tiles coming to Hollvania in Warframe: 1999 – and without drawing more attention to her unique mousepad, she showed a new nature museum, and a ballpit in a playplace. These are only a few of the 20 new tiles coming to Hollvania in Techrot Encore.
