Techrot Encore in Warframe is slated to launch on March 19th. With it comes nearly 20 new weapons, a new cool warframe, two new game modes, an incredible new mini game and more. But between all of these new additions are a slew of great quality of life changes coming to the game. Here all of the changes you can expect in this upcoming update!
All of the Quality of Life Changed Coming in Techrot Encore
For starters, one of the most important changes coming is that all defense missions will now be three waves based instead of five, making it quicker to play. All Aura Forma will now be Omni Forma. Omni Forma will allow any polarity to get slotted in for half of the cost. The downside is that Umbra mods will not work with Omni Forma. Speaking of mods, you can now auto-select duplicate mods to sell for credits or endo. You can also expect to receive 30 more riven mod slots.

You can now modify the effects of stealth on your warframes. What this means is that you can remain invisible but still allow yourself to see your warframe factions. Speaking of warframes, Rhino will now only take 24 hours to build, which is great for new players. The KIM messaging system in Warframe: 1999 will be getting new conversations alongside the four new protoframes.
Warframes, like Khora, Ash, Gara and Atlas will now have their pseudo-exalted weapons be moddable. This means Khora’s whip, and Garas glass sword. They will also have Arcane slots alongside the mods for extra build crafting. Ash will also be getting a small rework to his abilities, including more shuriken being thrown and more in the Dev workshop.

Finally, there will be a slew of new player experience focused changes. This includes expediency through the star chart to get to the Second Dream quest. High level crafting materials will be removed from Archwing crafting requirements. The biggest change will be the removal of the Necramech requirement in The New War. You will be given a loaned Necramech to use in the small segment of that quest from years ago. Speaking of quests, you can finally replay The Duviri Paradox, and The Hex. You can also disband random players from your party after a mission.

But one of the best changes coming is the return of the We All Lift Together musical segment in Fortuna being replayable after The New War.
Wisp, Koumei, Qorvex and Gyre Augments and new Skins
The four new augments will function like so:
- Koumei – Her Omikuji, or Decree granting ability can have its cooldown reduced by killing enemies with weapons boosted by her passive.
- Wisp – Her fourth ability will now summon two clones to ramp up the damage. Think of Mirage’s Hall of Mirrors, but only when casting her ultimate.
- Qorvex – his fourth ability will now be channeled. This will allow the pillars to continuously trigger the explosions and will have their duration. But you will move very slowly as a result and spend more energy.
- Gyre – her arc spheres will add bonus electricity damage and guaranteed electricity status effects. Think of Volt’s energy shield, but bigger.

Going alongside these augments will be a slew of new cosmetics. This includes Gyre’s Deluxe, which was shown in game, with the Alternox deluxe skin. Five new Tennogen items are being added as well. Including a Styanax and Voruna skin, as well as two new Syandanas and shoulder pads. There might also be new captura scenes, but all of the quality-of-life changes coming with Techrot Encore.
