Warframe: Koumei Build and Review
In Koumei and The Five Fates, a lot of much needed changes, new content, and even new weapons were added. Such as the Higasa and Amanata, which were the signature weapons for Koumei. Koumei herself is an interesting addition to the Warframe, as she is the first luck-based frame. With that as her theme, she has a lot to offer but can feel underwhelming in some late game activities.
Koumei Build in Warframe
Below is the build I have been using since I got her, and it has worked very well in every activity I have brought her in. You will need at least 2 Forma for her:
For starters, Archon Continuity is only going to be activated randomly since her first and second ability randomly procs toxin status effects. The overall theme for the build is boosting up everything as much as possible. With Molt Efficiency and Augmented added 36% more duration when her shields are up, and 60% more power strength to her whole kit after scoring 250 kills. There are generally no drawbacks, and even Steel Charge adding more melee damage for Amanata.
Below are the Archon Shards I picked for her, obviously, these can be changed out for any other choices you prefer:
Koumei Review
Koumei, while the build I have has no drawbacks, she herself has a few drawbacks overall. For starters, her first ability making is generally very good for defensive missions. But lacks in a good baseline for its power. It does get multiplied by the dice rolls on each cast, but that can either make the damage output weak, or strong. Effectively rendering it unreliable in endgame activities. Her second ability is the only one I think you can subsume another ability over. As you cannot pick the decrees, and the challenges are very specific and can be frustrating to pull off. If you do subsume, I recommend Roar for more damage, or Tharros Strike for armor stripping.
I have no complaints on her third ability as it can be recasted to get the maximum number of charges to block attacks and heal her. As well as her fourth ability being the coolest to use. Stringing up enemies and landing multiple status effects on them are good, but I think the little bodily movements should be removed to make hitting headshots with Higasa easier.
Overall, Koumei is a great warframe, but has some problems that I hope can be ironed out. She is very good for early game and endgame activities, including Netracells, Deep Archimedea, Steel Path, and Archon Hunts.
Note – Special thanks to Digital Extremes for providing Koumei for coverage purposes.
