In Expedition 33, you will find these weird blue pillar things that look like giant tree roots. These blue pillars look like they’re destructible, and they are, but you cannot do it for a while in the game. These will have random treasures and will be all over the place, even the overworld. But how do you break them? The answer is sort of simple, but also a little annoying for completionists.
How to Break Blue Pillars in Expedition 33
When you get access to the camp, later in the game you will eventually come across a big Gestral that will task you with finding 9 lost gestrals.
You can find them in the overworld, and after you gain the ability to swim and fly, you will be able to look around and find them more easily. You will need at least 4 of these lost gestrals to gain the ability to break those blue pillars. Finding all 9 will gain you multiple cosmetics, colour’s of lumina’s and a secret powerful picto.
