MARVEL Tōkon: Fighting Souls is an exciting new 4v4 tag team fighting game coming from the legends over at Arc System Works. MARVEL Tōkon’s debut came at last month’s PlayStation State of Play, and generated a ton of buzz from fighting game fans and Marvel fans alike. This is a dream collaboration, and it’s awesome that it has come to fruition.
Attending Evo 2025
If you are attending Evo this year, you will have a chance to get hands-on with the title. The fighters that will be on display at Evo are Captain America, Iron Man, Storm, Star Lord, Ms. Marvel, and Doctor Doom. There are some goodies for players who do check the game out as well!

Here are the details for the hands-on with the title. MARVEL Tōkon: Fighting Souls will be at the Ark System Works Booth from August 1st to the 3rd. The demo on the floor will have a wide variety of inputs for players to test out. Alongside the Dual-Sense, people can use the Razer Kitsune, and the Nacon Daija Arcade Stick. It looks like the FlexStrike fight stick (Designed by SIE themselves) will be on display, but it will not be available to use in action just yet.

Developer Combat Panel
In addition to MARVEL Tōkon being on the show floor, a developer combat panel including members from both Arc System and Marvel Games will take place on Friday, August 1st. This panel will be available for attendees, but also will be live streamed on the Evo Events YouTube Channel. The live stream touts new core gameplay mechanics being shown off. It would also be neat to see some character reveals as well.
The 35-Man roster?
Famed PlayStation Twitter account Real Radec spotted an instance where the entire fighter’s select screen was shown. Revealing that there is room for at least 35 fighters in the game.
Hopefully, the cast features a mix of fan favorites and the more niche heroes in Marvel’s catalog.
MARVEL Tōkon: Fighting Souls will be HUGE!
MARVEL Tōkon: Fighting Souls looks like it will be a blast. It is an exceptionally cunning pairing of the fighting legends over at Arc System with the powerful brand recognition of Marvel. The art style is gorgeous and fits nicely next to Arc Sys’ other fighters (Guilty Gear Strive and Dragon Ball Fighterz)

MARVEL Tōkon will be a huge boon for the FGC (fighting game community) next year. The title is set for a 2026 release and will launch on PlayStation 5 and PC.
