The latest Devstream from Digital Extremes has just wrapped up on all major channels. This Devstream was the showcase for the next major update, a whole slew of quality-of-life improvements, and even the release date of the long-awaited Nintendo Switch 2 version of Warframe. Here is everything we learned from Devstream 193 today!
Everything From Devstream 193 for Warframe
They kicked off the stream with a lot of varied news. The first is that you can expect the St. Patrick’s Day cosmetics to hit the in-game store again on March 2nd. They also talked about TennoCon 2026 (which tickets are now sold out), showing off very creepy new keyart for it. As well as some of the contest deadlines for the community. Entries for the cosplay contest have to be in by June 14th, community art has to be in by June 4th, and Dojo entries are making their comeback and have to be in by May 15th.

While TennoCon is still months away, they went over what the community can expect from PAX East on May 28th. The Devstream will show off the next Prime Warframe (which may be Voruna or Styanax) as well as let players decide what features get added in the next update after Shadowgrapher. Digital Extremes also talked about how something from Soulframe will be talked about there as well.
They also announced the 13th anniversary event for Warframe. Starting on March 13th to May 8th, players can expect to earn all of the previous anniversary awards, plus a new one. This year’s new free cosmetic is a Lotus-themed Signa.

Next, they talked about the release date for the Nintendo Switch 2 version of Warframe.
Warframe Launches on Nintendo Switch 2 on March 25th
The long-awaited Nintendo Switch 2 version of the game launches on March 25th. Digital Extremes is very excited for players to get their hands on it, as it boasts very exciting technical feats. It runs at sixty frames-per-second at 1080p, utilizing the DLSS in the device, and even features the ability to use mouse mode with the Joy-Cons, alongside overall graphical improvements. This update will be free, like all updates in the game. While also giving players a free booster pack.

This includes the Vericres war fan, the stance mod for the weapons, a unique cosmetic, and free boosters for just logging into the game. But not only is this port launching on March 25th, but so will the new update for Warframe, The Shadowgrapher.
Shadowgrapher Launches on March 25th as well
The next major update, The Shadowgrapher, is launching alongside the Nintendo Switch 2 version of the game. Bringing with it a new game, a new warframe with a signature weapon, and many cool new things. The trailer down below seemingly mixes the creepiness of IT and some of the subtle themes of Clair Obscur: Expedition 33.
This update brings with it the 64th warframe, Follie, and her signature weapon, Enkaus. Her weapon is a new critical-based beam rifle that refills its ammo when hitting enemies affected by Follie’s abilities, and its alternate fire creates little ink blots.

Follie herself is a very interesting new warframe. Her abilities are as follows:
- Her passive drops health or energy orbs when killing enemies affected by her abilities.
- Her first ability teleports her, creates a pool of ink, and makes her invincible for a short period.
- The second ability lets you summon anything literally, from Orokin death orbs, explosive barrels, Thermian RPGs from Warframe: 1999, and even life support capsules for survival missions.
- Her third ability creates a clone of herself that gives you damage reduction depending on how many enemies you kill.
- While her ultimate ability lifts enemies in the air with balloons, and popping those balloons can kill the enemies with fall damage.
You can earn Follie, Enkaus, and some other goodies from the new game mode: Follies Hunt.
Details on Follies Hunt
Follies Hunt is a new horror-themed game mode. You start by entering the destroyed Vesper Relay and searching for paintings. After finding a painting, you then have to find paint and carry it with your Operator to get rewards. Follie will be stalking you down the scary and decrepit relay while enemies swarm you.
But fret not if you are unlucky with your drops, as there will be a pity system to get what you want from a new vendor related to the Arbiters of Hexis. You will be able to buy Follie and Enkaus from this new vendor with enough currency and a cool new feature that allows you to make shiny foil versions of mods to have for your collection. There will be a new clan event to go alongside this game mode the week following, and to play Follies Hunt, you will need to finish the Chains of Harrow.
Gauss and Grendel Deluxe Details
The new Robot/Gundam themed deluxe skins for Gauss and Grendel are coming to Warframe with The Shadowgrapher. They feel influenced by Zephyr’s Herrier collection, and they are seriously cool. They will also come with unique weapon skins, cool new emotes for Gauss and Grendel animations, and an incredible feature for Gauss’s skin. When activating his ultimate, you can hear “Redline” playing. It is an awesome touch and sold me on it instantly.

New Quality of Life for Warframe
Digital Extremes closed out the stream by going over a lot of new quality-of-life features and other goodies. This includes:
- Clans will now allow Clan vaults to earn resources from clanmates who play together. There will also be weekly rewards earnable as well.
- Survival missions will now have random droppable keys that speed up the timer to earn rewards faster.
- 44 new Honorias are coming with The Shadowgrapher, including ones buyable from Syndicates.
- Excavators will now have invulnerability for a short period when they spawn, will scale better, and have shield gating.
- Warframe and weapon part drop rates are getting improved across the board, and starter warframes like Excalibur, Volt, and Mag will now have 24-hour crafting times.
- New Operator/Drifter faces are coming in The Shadowgrapher.
- 5 new Tennogen items are coming, 2 signas, an Entrati-themed hammer and Nova skin, and one for Styanax.
- The Coda Bubonico, Kuva Ghoulsaw, and Tenet Quanta are also coming with the Shadowgrapher.
Finally, they will be adding a few new areas to The Perita Rebellion, alongside a new hard mode you will have to discover how to unlock, called “The Guilty”.
