Yesterday, Digital Extremes launched their first major update of the year for their marquee title, Warframe. Titled Shadowgrapher, this update is horror-themed. Bringing with it a new horror-centric game mode, the 64th warframe, Follie, new rewards to chase, and a slew of new cosmetics. Here is everything you can expect from the latest update for the long-running free-to-play game, now on the Nintendo Switch 2!
What You Can Expect in the Shadowgrapher update for Warframe
For starters, as mentioned before, there is a new warframe and weapon to earn. The 64th frame, Follie, is a paintress with an inky beam gun that you can earn in a new quick and easy game mode called “Follie’s Hunt” in the ruins of the Vesper Relay on Venus. This game mode is claustrophobic and intense, with clear and easy objectives to complete. If you are unlucky with drops, you will be able to earn a new currency to buy what you are missing from a new vendor in any normal relay. There is also a new hard mode for the Perita Rebellion from The Old Peace. The community has already discovered how to do so, and you can find that out here if you need it from the outlet Sportskeeda. Warframe has finally made its way to the Nintendo Switch 2 console. It will feature better graphics, smoother gameplay, and a free DLC package for logging in!
There are also brand new cosmetics to buy. Such as the Grendel and Gauss deluxe skins. The skin bundle features new dual emotes for Grendel and Gauss, as well as a special feature for Gauss. The Gauss skin, when activating his ultimate, you will hear the “Redline” song from his Prime Trailer.
Shadowgrapher for Warframe is free on all platforms. Including not only the Nintendo Switch 2, but the Nintendo Switch 1, PlayStation 4|5, Steam, iOS and Android, and Xbox consoles.
