HBO Max has been busy lately. After having to deal with all the negative reactions from directors and others in the movie industry you would think the service might buckle. Instead, they are working out deals with studios and even releasing some movies earlier than expected. That includes Godzilla vs Kong which just moved up to its release date.
Godzilla vs Kong has moved up to March 26th from May 21st. This will definitely give the foreign market a better chance to make money off this movie. It’s still unknown how the year will shape up for theaters in the domestic market. With many people still not willing to go to a theater, it seems like the best bet is to watch movies online. At least until Fall, hopefully, by that time everything will be a little clearer.
If your unsure what is happening in this movie here is the synopsis for the film.
“Fearsome monsters Godzilla and King Kong square off in an epic battle for the ages, while humanity looks to wipe out both of the creatures and take back the planet once and for all.”-Deadline.com
Every movie will be releasing in theaters and on HBO Max the same day. The subscription price for HBO Max is $14.99 a month. Having these movies will not cost extra for viewers. Each movie that is released will only be available for a month. That gives us plenty of time to check out these movies before they leave. This past week we were given a look at the upcoming movie Mortal Kombat. It will be coming out on April 16th.
