Shin Megami Tensei 5: Vengeance

New Demons and Story Details for Shin Megami Tensei 5: Vengeance

The first trailer opens with an ominous narration “The soul of that girl, cannot be permitted to exist”. This is mixed in with new cinematic shots of the main character, the Nahobino, warding off a large demon and the new female character Yoko seemingly becoming entranced and her eyes turning a bright yellow. It is a short trailer, but one that really helps set the tone in an exciting way.

Moving onto that, they showed off gameplay for four upcoming demons. Starting with Efreet, a fiery horned demon using different deadly fire abilities. With the reveal of Karasu Tengu, which players of Shin Megami Tensei 3, will recognize.

They then finished up with some gameplay of the “Hare of Inaba”. Which seems to be using different support abilities and can debuff enemies. Ending with more gameplay of the Nahobeeho. A Jack Frost variant of the main character who can use variants of those same abilities. Such as the deadly almighty ability “Freikugel”.
