Is Dragon Ball Z: Sparking Zero Still Coming to Xbox?

Over the last couple of days, discussion has sparked from IconEra on the notable absence of the store listing for Dragon Ball Z: Sparking Zero on the Microsoft store. That has caused some to rightfully question if the game is still coming to Xbox consoles. Currently you can still pre-order the game via reputable physical retailers. Such as GameStop and others. But there a lot of inconsistencies with this idea. Considering you can still pre-order it digitally on the PlayStation store. So, it is most likely the case that it will still come to Xbox consoles. However, there is cause for alarm amongst the Xbox fanbase. Seeing as certain titles do skip the platform while remaining on a variety of different platforms.

So, What’s Going on With Dragon Ball Z: Sparking Zero on Xbox?

Honestly, when it comes to this situation, it seems like there is just not a listing due to the game still being further out. Dragon Ball Z: Sparking Zero having a spot on the PlayStation store might have more to do with potential marketing deals with Sony. Having it up for early pre-orders is a smart business move. Not every game still confirmed to come to Xbox has a storefront. One of the best JRPGs of last year, Octopath Traveler 2 did skip the platform during its launch period and is confirmed for “early 2024”. But there has not been a single word about this game since it got announced for Xbox. This game, despite being announced for the platform does not have a store listing at the moment.

Considering other smaller titles, such as the Megaman: Battle Network Legacy Collections, has skipped the platform randomly due to a “business decision” according to Capcom. It is understandable why some people may panic and others to doubt titles coming to the platform even if it seems as though they should. However, as mentioned before, the game still has physical copies to pre-order and the trailers announcing the version are still available. So, for all intents and purposes, Dragon Ball Z: Sparking Zero should still come to the platform, unless Bandai Namco confirms otherwise.
