The gaming industry has been off to a rather slow start this year. Outside of a handful of delays, it has been relatively quiet in terms of new announcements, trailers, or even release dates. However, today Capcom hosted a Resident Evil focused live stream that certainly got people talking. Especially in regards to Resident Evil: Village the latest installment in the long-running horror franchise.
New Trailer, Demo, and More
We learned a few things today from the live stream about Resident Evil: Village. Firstly, PlayStation 5 owners will get to go hands-on with the game first, in an exclusive demo. This demo will only be available on PlayStation 5. However, Capcom reassured fans that there will be a new demo coming to all platforms later this Spring. If you weren’t able to secure a next-generation console, you won’t have to worry, as Resident Evil Village is coming to both Xbox One and PlayStation 4 at launch in a surprise announcement. Many people had speculated if the game would be next generation only, however it looks like now we can lay that to rest.
