Deathloop Debuts Strong

Deathloop leads the chart this week with a strong launch week as the base game and deluxe edition took the #1 and #3 spots on the chart. This new IP enjoyed heavy marketing in the lead up to its launch thanks to an exclusive deal with PlayStation. This is on top of strong word of mouth and reviews, it is no surprise to see the game take the top spot on the chart this week. Now it is also worth noting that Tales Of Arise shows a strong second week as the game charts at #2 this week. This sticks it between the standard and deluxe edition of Deathloop, as Tales of Arise continues to show legs and makes a strong case for the Tales games to continue to be multiplatform going forward.

There was some more interesting data hidden in the chart as well. With Rockstar Games Red Dead Redemption 2 shooting up to #5 this week, after being #10 on last week’s chart. NBA 2K22 continues to find success as charts at #6 this week, which is up from #7 last week. Naraka Bladepoint continues to hold its #4 position last week, as the game continues to have a positive reception on PC. While finally, Valheim is back on the charts this week thanks to the game’s first major update that launched a few days ago. I would expect we will see Valheim a lot higher on the chart next week.
