Today February 9th, 2022 Nintendo held a Direct to highlight the upcoming Nintendo Switch games. Among them comes an update to the Advance Wars and Advance Wars 2 remasters.
Now launching on April 8th, 2022, Advance Wars 1+2: Re-Boot Camp is a complete remake of both GameBoy Advance games. Originally released in 2001 and 2003, this new version now has voice acted cutscenes and new animations.
Advance Wars is a historic Nintendo franchise that dates back to 1988. The turn-based strategy game has seen a release on nearly every Nintendo console. Although its first release in the US did not come until 2001 with Advance Wars on the GameBoy Advance. Following today’s Direct, pre-orders for Advance Wars 1+2: Re-Boot Camp have begun over on the Nintendo eShop.
