Kirby and the Forgotten Land Is Coming Spring 2022
Nintendo Directs are incredibly hard to predict due to Nintendo’s “iron curtain” of sorts in regards to what games the company is working on. We often don’t learn about Nintendo games until they are close to being ready to launch. The new 3D Kirby adventure is one such game that not many people could have predicted, but now we are a handful of months possibly away from playing this charming new game.
Today, during the official Nintendo Direct we got our first look at Kirby and the Forgotten Land. A new 3D adventure featuring everyone’s favorite pink puffball who loves nothing more than to devour the souls of his enemies. Featuring a massive almost post-apocalyptic city for Kirby to explore, this will no doubt be an exciting and bright 3D platformer. The art style and direction, almost make the game look like a modern Mario 64. This marks Kirby’s first 3D adventure and it will be interesting to see how the game will play out, and what powers we could see Kirby harness. Kirby and the Forgotten Land is coming to Nintendo Switch in Spring 2022. With a more concrete release date no doubt coming closer to the launch window, as many games are continuing to battle delays and COVID setbacks.
