A New Nintendo Direct Is Coming Very Soon
After over a year, the next Nintendo Direct broadcast is coming very soon. The company posted a Tweet on Tuesday announcing the date for a new Nintendo Direct.
The first Nintendo Direct of 2021 will debut Wednesday, Feb. 17 at 2 p.m. PT/ 5 p.m. ET. As for what the company is showcasing, expect news on Super Smash Bros. Ultimate. Fans can also look forward to updates on Nintendo Switch games releasing in the first half of 2021. This will be the first Nintendo Direct broadcast in over a year. The last one that we could spot on Nintendo’s YouTube page was from September 4, 2019.
The live stream will be around 50 minutes. Be prepared for announcements on already known titles as well. Bravely Default 2 releases this month with Monster Hunter: Rise following in March. New Pokémon Snap will release at the end of April. For Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, news on the next DLC character is a possibility. Sephiroth from Final Fantasy VII was the latest addition back in December 2020.
