The traditional game conference and convention, Electronic Entertainment Expo is taking a second-year off due to the COVID-19 Pandemic. This summer Geoff Keighley showrunner of The Game Awards, will look to fill the gap left by a summer without E3. Under the banner of Summer Game Fest, he will showcase over two hours of game announcements. Along with the AAA showcases, follows Day of the Devs. An all-digital game showcase that focuses on indie games. As part of the event today, we got new info on Bear & Breakfast.
Bear & Breakfast is a narrative simulation adventure game (in no order). You will play as Hank, the new manager of the mega-rural Bed and Breakfast. We got to play the game last year as part of the Steam Summer Fest, and it was a lighthearted serene experience. The top-down view is going to be a perfect game for vacation via the Switch or Steam Deck. Bear & Breakfast feels like a refreshing cozy time to be had in 2022, something we can all use. The wait will not be long, as the game is launching on July 28th, 2022.
