Devolver Countdown to Marketing Countdown: Cult Of The Lamb Release Date Trailer

With another year of no E3, Devolver Digital continues to find new and creative ways to showcase its indie titles. The publisher of games like Hotline Miami, Fall Guys, and Enter The Gungeon has a comedy-filled steaming showcase of its upcoming titles. Welcome to the Devolver Countdown to Marketing Countdown, all things Devolver Digital and Summer video game news. The event started off with a release date trailer for Cult of the Lamb.

We had the chance to go hands-on with the game earlier this year and we are enamored with the combination. Cult of the Lamb is an action-adventure game with strategy sim elements. You control the eponymous Lamb. The One Who Waits resurrected the Lamb in exchange for starting a cult in the former’s honor.

To build this cult, you need disciples. You will hack and slash your way through dungeons on the way to build your folk. Once you have recruited cultists, they go to live in your village. As Massive Monster put it back in April, “Cult of the Lamb is a combination rogue-lite adventure game and village-sim builder.
