The Game Awards are back. A one-night-only celebration of all things gaming live from the Microsoft Theater in downtown Los Angeles. Final Fantasy XVI will release on June 22nd, 2023. Additionally, pre-orders will open this week. It will release exclusively on the PlayStation 5 with at least a six-month timed window. The RPG franchise has just passed its 35th anniversary. With the latest release being among the most anticipated games of 2023.
