PAX East 2023: Wayfinder Exclusive Developer Interview
PAX East 2023 is here, the Lords from the Iron Lords Podcast and LOGNET were live on the show floor. Our own Lord Cognito as well as Lord PeteyTV got to interview a few members of the development team behind Wayfinder. Including the Creative Director, Joe Madureira. Here is our exclusive interview about the game, and some key takeaways!
Wayfinder Exclusive Interview from PAX East 2023
Wayfinder is an upcoming third-person action-adventure MMORPG by Airship Syndicate. Developers of The Ruined King: A League of Legends Story, Darksiders Genesis, and Battle Chasers. During the interview, we were able to gather some interesting information. Such as how their seasonal content offerings will differ from other online games. As well as picking the brain of Joe as he talked about the inspirations for the wayfinders in Wayfinder.
Each season of the game will bring with them new Wayfinders, as well as new dungeons, bosses, and areas over time into the game. One of the key aspects of the game’s matchmade modes is the modifiers from the Gloom Dagger. You will be able to make dungeons, boss take downs, and other activities into harder “heroic” difficulty. As well as new modifiers that will come over time as the team balances everything out with the Wayfinder community.
