The hype and anticipation that is created by the announcement of a Nintendo Direct is incredible. The reason behind this is that no one ever truly knows what Nintendo will announce. These surprises are often never spoiled either, as most leakers seem to completely miss the mark with Nintendo announcements. With all this being said, no one could have predicted that during today’s Nintendo Direct an HD version of Luigi’s Mansion 2 will be coming to Nintendo Switch.
Luigi’s Mansion 2 HD Nintendo Direct Trailer
“Welcome to Evershade Valley, a place that’s screaming and teeming with the supernatural. Luigi and his vacuum-like device, the Poltergust, ensue mansion mayhem and Luigi must face his courage to save the day! Up to 4 players can play together locally and online across different multiplayer modes.”
Luigi’s Mansion 2 better known as Luigi’s Mansion: Dark Moon in North America. Was originally released on the 3DS in 2013, and was considered a fantastic sequel to the original game that was released on the Gamecube in 2001. However, the sequel never made its way to Nintendo’s home console and was left trapped on the 3DS. Now fans of the franchise will be able to play this sequel in all its HD splendor on the Nintendo Switch next year. While there is no official release date yet, Nintendo states that it will release sometime in Summer 2024. This means fans won’t have to wait too long to live out their ghost-busting fantasies.
