Halo Infinite: Community Collection Playlist has Launched
Halo Infinite hasn’t had the best few weeks in recent memory. Layoffs at 343 Industries coupled with a strong-worded public message that the studio will remain the main developer of the Halo franchise going forward reflect a tumultuous time for the beleaguered studio. Despite the troubles brewing at 343 Industries, Halo Infinite is getting a much-requested feature to spruce up its multi-player offerings and signs that the game might be turning a corner. That’s right, Halo Infinite has launched the Community Collection playlist.
Halo Infinite Community Collection Playlist is Now Available
The Halo Infinite Community Collection playlist includes 4 community-created maps via Forge that will available to players. Check them out below.

From Halo Waypoint: Absolution has some familiar aspects of a few different maps—from Halo 2’s Sanctuary to Halo 3’s Guardian, with that weathered, stone-based Forerunner aesthetic that defined the look of Delta Halo.
Perilous
Credits: Sikamikanico, Whos Blaze, UnknownEmerald, tdubfed1, Bubba
HW: While not a direct remake of the iconic Lockout from Halo 2, many areas of this map carry elements of that beloved classic that lend a hint of familiarity to this new space.
Salvation

HW: Damnation from Halo: Combat Evolved sees a fresh coat of Banished paint and a beautifully revamped industrial aesthetic within a vast cavern.
Starboard
Credits: Pwn Jones, TheHoodedManZ, bissuetox, The MetaChief, Hitbox unKnown, Max Extra
HW: All hands have been summoned to battle stations on this stunning UNSC-ified spiritual remake of Halo 2’s Midship.
Halo Infinite Community Playlist Wrap Up
The maps do look spectacular, and hopefully, this is turning the tide for Halo Infinite. Despite its well-received campaign, the multi-player portion and live service elements have been lackluster. With Season 3 around the corner, the Halo Infinite Community Collection could be the mark of a new phase for both 343 Industries and the game.
Will the new maps be enough to bring you back to Halo Infinite? Have you created your own maps on Forge? Sound off in the comment section below.
