This week brought exciting news and updates in the world of games. Nintendo kicked things off with an excellent Nintendo Direct. Capcom’s updates to Resident Evil 4 proved to be one of the stand-out announcements of the show. VR fans prepare to experience a new strain of zombie terror. Meanwhile, “Separate Ways” brings the return of a fan-favorite character.

Ada Wong first debuted in Resident Evil 2. “Separate Ways” offers players a chance to see events unfold from her perspective. Furthermore, Ada was at the cult village conducting her own mission before Leon started his journey to save the President’s daughter.

This DLC follows Ada’s dangerous search for a cult artifact. She encounters dangerous cultists, shifty individuals, and unparalleled threats along the way. It is unclear what the true motivations behind this mission are. “Separate Ways” takes players on this journey of discovery and how it ties to Leon’s great rescue on September 21.

Experience New Terror

Additionally, Capcom unveiled a new gameplay trailer for the VR Mode. This is an exciting addition bringing new ways to play Resident Evil 4.

The developers carefully crafted a fully immersive experience through the use of the PlayStation VR2. As a result, this is the best VR experience for the franchise to date. Players can take in new details undiscovered or employ Leon’s knife skills personally in the new mode for free this winter.
