GTA 6 Trailer Releases Early Due To Last Minute Leak

It has been a challenging year for Rockstar Games as they continue to focus on releasing the next installment in the Grand Theft Auto series. There is no doubt that GTA 6 is quite possibly one of the most highly anticipated games ever. The game has broken quite possibly every available social media post engagement record with very little information ever being given. This hasn’t stopped speculation and leaks from running wild, however, as Rockstar had to deal with leaked Alpha footage of the game back in 2022. Now just a day before the official reveal of GTA 6 a leaker on the social media site X leaked the entire minute and 30-second trailer. The leaker’s account was quickly banned and will likely face legal retaliation from Rockstar.

To counteract this leak Rockstar Games has officially released the trailer a day early. Instead of having a low-quality version of the trailer being shared across all social media platforms. The studio has uploaded the trailer on their official channel and we now have our first look at GTA 6. The trailer shows very little in terms of gameplay outside of the usual insanity that we have come to expect from the Grand Theft Auto franchise. Perhaps one of the most interesting details from the trailer is that the game is set to release in 2025. There is no specific window of release in 2025, so it is likely fans will have to wait quite a bit longer until they get their hands on the next installment in the series.
