Xbox Cloud Gaming App Install For Quest Devices

Xbox Cloud Gaming is now available on multiple Meta Quest devices. So today I’m going to give a short explanation on how you can install it. So let’s get into it.

V60 Update

First, to start you need to make sure your device is charged to a certain percentage. Now there have been some known issues of people going to the Quest store and clicking get on the Xbox Cloud Gaming app and then the app not installing. If that happens, you should first check if your Quest device is updated to V60.

This is a simple process and won’t take but just a second to check. What you need to do is open your setting on your quest. Then click on the section that says System and navigate to Software Update. Here is where you will check and see what the latest update your device has installed. If the OS isn’t updated to V60, go ahead and update your device now. After the update, you might have to restart your device. After that, you should be able to download the app and enjoy your favorite Xbox Game Pass games.

Meta Quest App

Another way to get the Xbox Cloud Gaming app to install is to use your phone app. You still have to make sure you have to latest update first. If you are going to install via the phone app first click on Menu. Then you will want to go to My Library and look for the Xbox Cloud Gaming app. There should be a button that says “install on headset” or “install on Quest.” If you have multiple headsets you will select which one. Then you will be off to the races.
