Warframe: Kuva Hind Build and Impressions in 2024

The Hind was originally an early game weapon in Warframe. With very little usability outside of the starter planets. But with the Kuva Lich system added in The Old Blood in 2019, many early game Grineer weapons got a massive facelift. Including the Hind, appropriately named Kuva Hind. Even though it has been nearly 5 years since its release I have only just gotten around to acquiring it and find it a little underwhelming. Despite my best efforts in the way of mods. But let us go over the mods first before talking about how it performs.

Kuva Hind Build and Impressions for Warframe

Below is the build I came to for most activities:

Warframe Kuva Hind Build

For starters, this is a very normal build in Warframe. With Galvanized Aptitude helping with damage output in endgame activities. Such as Deep Archimedea, and Archon Hunts. The innate Magnetic status effect helps in conjunction with the Corrosive status effects to offer a little bit of help with Corpus and Grineer foes wherever you go. With the trifecta of damage boosts with Serration, Galvanized chamber and Primary merciless. Hunters Munitions helps a lot against really tank-y foes. Going with the tried and true Heavy Gunner damage tests, it was killing them pretty quickly too.

But I feel like the weapon is still a little underwhelming to me. Its quirk is to work similarly to the Tiberon Prime where there are three different firing modes. Auto, Semi-auto and burst fire. Burst fire is a little unreliable in most cases, but Auto is my go-to for crowds and semi-auto being a shotgun blast is pretty cool for tankier foes. Overall, the Hind in Warframe is good, I’m just not crazy about it. But it can be very good with the right build, so I hope this helps you out there, Tenno!
