While I sit and ponder how I would ago about doing individual builds for older weapons and frames in Warframe. One idea popped into my head, and that was doing what would basically be, a double bill. Over the last few months, I have been running a weird combination of both Zephyr Prime, and the Atomos. I got my taste of Atomos being actually useful when it got an incarnon adapter in The Duviri Paradox. But outside of casual tests in the simulacrum, I left it to the wayside until I started experimenting with a specific build I have for Zephyr Prime. So, let us start with Zephyr, then Atomos.

Embrace the Pink Beam
Zephyr Prime and Atomos Duo Build in Warframe
Part 1: Zephyr Prime
Below is the build I have for my Zephyr:
This is pretty much all over the place but to give it a breakdown, this is not ability centered for the most part. My Zephyr Prime build is primarily aimed at staying alive without sacrificing too much of the utility of the rest of her kit. But the key takeaways in this are both Arcane Precision and Airburst Rounds. Airburst Rounds gives an insane amount of extra damage to her secondary weapon, with Arcane Precision also giving a flat buff for hitting headshots, this is more of a backup buff for secondary damage if Airburst Rounds fades without you realizing it. Jet Stream is there to ensure bullets do not hit as often as well. Below are the Archon Shards I chose for her.
Obviously, you can be flexible with your choices here. I just found giving her more survivability and energy more important. I also chose to subsume Condemn onto her to give her some overshields, and ensure you can root enemies to the ground if you do not want to use Airburst to keep grouping enemies up. Now, onto Atomos.
Part 2: Atomos
Below is my build for the Atomos:
And the Incarnon Adapter Traits I went for are as follows:
- Hoplite Virtue.
- Moonrise Velocity.
- Survivors Edge.
Trust me when I say when things go right with the above Zephyr build, you will be averaging around very high damage numbers that make the constant Heat procs go even higher.
As for why I chose Creeping Bullseye over Primed Pistol Gambit. I did not want to spend more forma, and having a slower fire rate keeps it from draining the ammo too quickly, and control what enemies you are hitting. Cascadia Flare also goes hand-in-hand to make quite a devastating combo.
While this build initially sounds like a “hear me out” pitch. The results are there, and Zephyr can bunch up as many foes as possible and burn them to a crisp. But even if you end up using these builds separately in different loadouts. I just hope these builds make their way into your arsenal in Warframe.
