As a huge fan of SpongeBob SquarePants and other Nickelodeon shows, I was thrilled to learn that Paramount+ was hosting an offsite event at San Diego Comic-Con this year. With SpongeBob’s 25th anniversary in mind, I had high expectations for Paramount’s event, and they certainly delivered. Paramount+ also transformed a downtown hotel into a vibrant celebration of SpongeBob’s milestone.
Highlights of Paramount’s The Lodge at SDCC
Paramount+’s The Lodge featured a range of exciting experiences, including two complimentary alcoholic drinks at the bar and a slice of pizza from the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles booth. Upon entering, visitors were greeted with various themed areas representing different Paramount+ shows and movies. Each offering interactive walk-through experiences. One standout feature was the opportunity to receive a custom Star Trek T-shirt. The video below shows a walkthrough of the entire offsite experience.
Final Thoughts on the SDCC 2024 Paramount+ The Lodge
Overall, the setup of Paramount+’s The Lodge was impressive and well-executed. Access to the event was smooth, and the staff was friendly and accommodating. I highly recommend that anyone attending Comic-Con visit Paramount+’s booths and offsite attractions. They did an outstanding job this year.
