Similar to the Fragmented One in the Whispers in the Walls expansion in Warframe. The new Efervon Tank boss that was added in Warframe: 1999 also has a Steel Path raid-like variant of itself that players can challenge for a unique one-time reward. Below will be the guide on how to take it on, and also what warframes you should bring in your group!

Efervon Apex Tank Boss Guide in Warframe: 1999
For starters, you will have to go in on Steel Path, the boss will not appear otherwise. Afterwards, play the mission like normal until you get to the second barricade. There will be two additional terminals around the main console you use to get RPGs. They will look like this:

You cannot use a cipher to hack this PC like you can the normal terminals, so ensure you are safe from enemies before engaging with them. You will also see a few symbols that signify that you have unlocked the Apex boss fight. After you get both symbols, destroy the barricade and continue to the boss fight like normal.

When fighting the Apex Tank, you will have to keep track of a lot of different things. On top of having to play like normal, this boss will also have the ability to sap ability usage through Overguard as well. Both phases will play like normal, but you will have to be more attentive on enemies to ensure you get the RPGs and use them as soon as possible in the first phase. While being able to pop the zits in the second phase and prevent healing as much as possible.
I went into the fight with a Dante to grant Overguard to keep my teammate alive as best as I could. They ran a Mirage, so I recommend bringing at least one of each with your sundays finest.
“But what do I get out of this?” Well, you will get a new sumdali, or hood ornament for your landing craft as you see below:

This boss fight will be a true test of skill, not endurance. I wrapped up the fight in under five minutes after it began. Coordinate with your teammates, and bring home the gold, Tenno!
