In Warframe: 1999, alongside cool new additions to the ever-growing arsenal of Warframe. Such as the new Cyte-09 sniper warframe and the Vesper 77 pistol. Digital Extremes reworked two warframes, one of them was Nyx. A warframe that has fallen to the wayside as the meta has shifted to more crowd control and damage focused builds as of late. In the recent expansion, Nyx got a little bit of a change to her abilities, but before we go into how she performs now, let us go over our build for her.

Warframe Nyx Build

Below is the build I have been using for Nyx since the rework:

Nyx is a warframe that relies a lot on ability usage, and range for those abilities. So, stacking mostly into Range and Efficiency. Alongside a small focus for Strength and Duration that is backed up by a dual Molt arcane set to make up for any small deficits for her abilities. Below will be the Archon Shards I have been using as well:

The casting speed boost helps considering I could not fit a Natural Talent onto her. The rest can be anything you would like it to be, as it mostly just for flavor. But how Nyx perform with this build after her rework?

Nyx Post Rework Review

Nyx is very strong as a warframe now. In fact, I have no need for any of her augments, due to just how strong Psychic Bolts, Chaos and Absorb function now. I still do not prefer using Mind Control, so you subsume something like a Roar or Nourish. Psychic Bolts as an ability can now melt shields, and overguard, so having any form of enhanced durability is not necessary either. Chaos helps her deal crazy amounts of critical damage with the right weapons, and Absorb can now do a good amount of base damage and offer invulnerability.

All of this culminates in making Nyx a very wise choice, prime or otherwise, to use in any activities now. Whether that is Steel Path, Netracells or Deep Archimedea is she shows up as one of your options.
