Warframe – Reconifex Build and Review

Warframe: 1999 added a lot of new stuff to the game. From the Efervon Tank fight, and it’s harder variant. To new additions to the ever-growing arsenal, such as Cyte-09, the new sniper warframe and the new Vesper 77 suppressed pistol. But one of the coolest new additions that came with this update, was the new Reconifex auto rifle. The Reconifex is a new slow fire, heavy hitting gun that has an honestly great gimmick, but before we get into that, let us go over my recommended build for it!

To get this out of the way first, Rifle Elementalist is a must. This is due to the fact that it boosts the damage from status effects, which if you are pulling off the guns gimmick, you will notice an immediate boost. Balancing both the necessary mods like Serration and Galvanized Chamber, alongside Aptitude and a critical build will go a long way in every activity. But the new Primary Crux is going to help the gun shine.

Primary Crux allows, after 10 weak point hits, for every 3 out of 5 bullets to be free, with quadrupled status chance. This allows for the Reconifex to fire for a long time and proc multiple status effects while doing more damage. With Hunter Munitions actively adding slash effects to help melt enemies. But with all of this being said, how does it perform?

Reconifex Review

The Reconifex as a new auto rifle is very good especially compared to its peers like the AX-52. From the very high magazine count to the unique gimmick of having an “Active Reload” like the Gears of War, series. Where if you press reload at a precise time, you not only get a quicker reload, but you also add fire to every bullet in that magazine. Allowing you to build more around straight damage output and not worry about optimizing around reload speed.

The Reconifex definitely needs to be something you set your sights on, it is genuinely excellent in every activity I have brought it on, from Steel Path to Archon Hunts.
