Ireland-based developer VOID Interactive has announced that Ready or Not, the acclaimed tactical first-person shooter, will hit PS5 and Xbox Series X|S this summer, following its successful run on PC. The news has sparked a wave of excitement among fans eager to experience the intense SWAT simulator on consoles.
What is Ready or Not?

Ready or Not immerses players in the high-stakes world of a SWAT team navigating a fictional American city, Los Sueños, gripped by a violent crime wave. Known for its realistic squad-based gameplay, the game has earned an impressive 89% positive rating on Steam, its challenging mechanics and immersive scenarios being the driver.
Since its early access debut in December 2021 and full release in December 2023, the title has cultivated a dedicated fanbase, further fueled by updates like the Home Invasion and Dark Waters DLCs in 2024, which introduced new missions and an Unreal Engine 5 upgrade.
Here At Last

The console port announcement has been a long time coming. As early as 2019, VOID Interactive hinted at plans for console versions, stating they would follow the PC release. Despite setbacks, the studio has finally pushed forward.
As summer 2025 approaches, Xbox and PlayStation players should start gearing up for a shooter that promises to test their coordination and strategy. Whether you’re breaching doors solo or with a squad, this port is shaping up to be one of the year’s most anticipated console releases.
